Who we are

Marjan's Kitchen is a home bakery in Encino Hills, California. This policy explains what information we collect when you place an order or sign up for our weekly text reminders, and how we use and protect it.

Information we collect

• Name, phone number, and optional email address
• Delivery address, if you choose delivery
• Order details: items, quantities, preferred date, and any notes you include
• Your payment choice (Venmo or Zelle) — we never see or store your payment credentials

How we use your information

• To bake and fulfill your order
• To contact you by text or email to confirm pickup or delivery details
• To send a confirmation of your order by email, if you provide an email address
• To send a weekly text reminder about ordering, if you opted in to receive it

Text messages (SMS)

If you check the "text me a weekly order reminder" box on our order form, or tell Marjan in person or by phone that you'd like weekly reminders, we store your phone number on our contact list and send you one weekly reminder text with a link to marjanskitchen.com. Message frequency varies (about one message per week). Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, and you can ask for help by replying HELP.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Sharing your information

We only share information with the service providers that make the bakery run: our website and database host, our email and text-messaging providers, and our payment platforms (Venmo and Zelle), which you pay directly. We never sell your information.

Your choices

• Reply STOP to any text message to stop weekly reminders
• Ask us to update or delete your contact details at any time
